Being a Telia Estonia startup lab, Vunk has helped companies partner with Telia to improve their offering and get access to the market. Vunk ran an accelerator for 2 years and pivoted to Collaboration framework this Spring.


VUNK - Call for Collaboration is a solid framework for startups to disrupt areas where we need to grow faster than the market. We collaborate on Telia Group level to seek potential on different markets and with Startup Wise Guysand Estonian Business Angels Network to have a clear vision how we can best move fast and succeed in working with startups. 


WHAT VUNK OFFERS?

  • Collaboration partner - Get a dedicated contact to search for the best collaboration model, fast track GTM.
  • Mentoring - Get access to industry experts, business mentors and key decision-makers.
  • Market access - Get customer insights and access to Telia’s marketing and sales channels.
  • Incubation - Get free space in our office if your team wins.
  • Funding - Get 5000€ as award money if we enter collaboration. 
  • Integration - Get integrated with Telia's API’s (e.g. billing) and infrastructure services.

WHAT IS VUNK COLLABORATION FRAMEWORK?

Vunk Open Call for Collaboration Autumn, starts from September and runs till the end of November. You are welcome to apply through f6s and get in contact with VUNK team through Skype or meet up at the office to figure out the possibilities of collaboration in the future.

Next step is the Conceptualisation phase, where Vunk selects 5-6 teams to come and meet all the needed stakeholders in Estonia. A two day bootcamp held that focuses on finding the start-up with the best validated business case and most motivated team. The goal is to  figure out together the possible plans to move forward through collaboration.

After the selection process, on October 31, we announce the teams we'd love to work together with. By then we'll have worked out a proper calendar with common offers on the market; a solid plan for launching and developing the common MVP etc.

ARE YOU THE START-UP VUNK IS LOOKING FOR?

Vunk is a part of the Telia Group, Telia Eesti operates in 4 broad fields, namely, mobile, broadband, television and Information Technology.

Under VUNK framework, we are looking for emerging start-ups and businesses that are being developed in disruptive ways. Vunk is focusing on 3 broad streams for this season:

  • IoT (smart cities & B2B digitalization;
  • Wellness (big data, dashboarding);
  • eCommerce (making the most of customer journeys’ online)


Vunk is looking for teams who have established their entity and have at least 2 co-founders. If you have already validated your business idea on the market and looking for opportunities to grow a leverage on collaboration with us, apply now by filling out the our application.
